About the Author

Jason Roth began his career as an advertising and marketing copywriter and now works in the education and nonprofit fields. Jason has written humorous nonfiction, and eons ago was published in such publications as High Times magazine. For a full year, Jason performed stand-up comedy at open mic shows throughout New York City, until drunk hecklers kindly persuaded him to return to non-performative endeavors. Since becoming a father of two girls, Jason gained an intimate knowledge of parenthood and education, particularly through the role of designated remote learning assistant to his daughters' teachers during Covid lockdowns and the ensuing months and years from his home in Queens, New York City.

Waking Up Daddy is his first book.
